About

A shop that works in shared garages

Borkowski Electric is a Seattle electrical contractor with a crew of 14, working in condo, HOA and apartment buildings. Joanna Borkowski started it to do the part of EV charging that is hard: a shared panel, a board with questions, and billing that has to be settled before anyone plugs in. We don't do single-family chargers, which lets us spend the time a shared building needs.

How we work

  • The board gets the numbers in writing, before the vote

  • The person who did the load calculation comes to the meeting

  • We say what a layout can't do as plainly as what it can
